Delete in the app
- Open Kinlo and sign in.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account.
- Review the effect on your family archive and confirm deletion.
We may require a recent sign-in to protect the account. If you own a family, Kinlo will ask you to transfer ownership to another adult or delete the family and your account together.
Request deletion on the web
Email vmodem.dev@gmail.com from the address associated with your Kinlo account. Use the subject “Kinlo account deletion request.” We may ask you to complete a secure verification step. Never send your password, one-time code, recovery key, or private family media by email.
What deletion covers
Personal-account deletion removes authentication, profile, membership, person record, push tokens, account-only preferences, and user-generated content associated with the account, including shared Memories, Milestones, media, comments, and reactions. Whole-family deletion removes the family, content, media, memberships, and guest access.
Limited information may remain temporarily in restricted backups, security logs, fraud-prevention records, or records that law requires us to keep. Those exceptions are described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Deleting Kinlo or your Kinlo account does not necessarily cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel the subscription separately in your Apple or Google account to prevent future renewal.
